#OneFiftyNine

Inspired by his exclusive interview with James Winans, the new president and CEO of The Bowery Mission featured in our NEWSLETTER, teen leader Jack Gaffigan age 14 brought us the idea that we could do our part to help. In the spirit of a persuasive and creative advertising campaign, the teen members decided to do launch a daily Instagram post of a new creative slogan to convince our supporters to donate multiples of $1.59, the cost of a complete healthy meal served by our friends at Bowery Mission free of charge for our most vulnerable New York City neighbors most impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, and experiencing homelessness and or food insecurity, It took just over 3 weeks to meet our goal of 2000 meals. Our proud benefactor Instinet Holdings Inc. matched our donation and together The Imagine Society and Instinet were able to supply the funds for 4,295 meals.
